Dee Snider's interest in musical theater doesn't end with his 2012 album "Dee Does Broadway."
BroadwayWorld.com says the Twisted Sister frontman is writing the new holiday show "Dee Snider's Rock & Roll Christmas Tale." He's also slated to star in the production, which tells the story of an '80s heavy metal bar band that's still looking for their big break. But when group members finally decide to sell their souls to the devil in exchange for fame and fortune, they're foiled at every turn by the Christmas spirit.
Snider is developing the show with director Adam John Hunter and producer John Yonover. The production will launch in time for next year's holiday season.
"Dee Snider's Rock & Roll Christmas Tale" is slated to open at the Broadway Playhouse in Chicago on November 4th, 2014.
