Def Leppard Is Looking Forward To Next Las Vegas Run

2019 iHeartRadio Music Festival And Daytime Stage

After staging a successful residency in Las Vegas this summer and capping it off with a righteous set at last weekend's iHeartRadio Music Festival, the members of Def Leppard are in agreement: they will set up shop in Vegas again soon.

In the band's final vlog from the 12-show residency, the newly-minted Rock and Roll Hall of Famers explained that they were reluctant to leave Vegas after having such a nice summer in Sin City.

Front man Joe Elliott indicated the band's multi-screen stage display, noting the show that evening would be the last time they saw it.

"I'm just having kind of a reminiscent moment with it," he said. "Right now I'm feeling rather emotional."

Guitarist Vivian Campbell added that he wished the band had more time in Vegas.

"If we were here another week, we'd really, really, really impress ourselves," he said.

Fellow guitarist Phil Collen added that the band should return, although he noted his surprise at how the residency was just as tiring as touring.

After a few years of pretty rigorous touring, Def Leppard is due for a break after a pair of fly-in shows October 12 at Exit 111 Festival in Tennessee and November 2 in Sacramento, California.
