We lost one of our own. James “Harley” Rectenwald passed last night of complications at Jewish Hospital. Harley was our Midday host on WQMF. He was born, raised in the Louisville Area and lived his entire life in Kentuckiana. Since 1987, he has been on Louisville Radio on WQMF and WAMZ. Harley was very involved in the community through numerous charitable events ….Poker Run supporting The Red Cross, Bikers Against Breast Cancer, Bowl For Kids’ Sake, Kentucky Harvest Food Drives, and St. Jude Radiothon.
He leaves behind his wife Kelli, Family, and a host of Friends.
